La Carmina – Finca el Descanso

🍓 Strawberry Cream // Vanilla // Milk Chocolate 🍫

It's like those Milka Chocolate bars you get on holiday... The one that's strawberry flavour.

Nestled in the mountainous terrain of southwest Antioquia, La Carmina is a century-old legacy. Founded over 100 years ago by the Guerra Family, this legendary estate set the foundation for what is now a collection of exceptional farms across the region. Today, Juan Carlos, the great-grandson of the original founder, oversees operations, ensuring tradition, sustainability, and quality remain at the heart of the farms' ethos.

This lot, grown within Finca El Descanso, thrives at an altitude of 1,500 – 1,750m, benefiting from the farm’s rich biodiversity and perfect coffee-growing climate. The Colombia varietal develops its signature creamy sweetness and vibrant fruit notes through the natural process, where cherries dry on Eldas under shade for up to 30 days.
