Once again, we're on the fertile plains of the Mantiqueira Mountains, at Ipanema Farm, in an attempt to unpack the B34 Blackberry lot and it's decadent character.
It’s sweet, jammy, and bursting with dark fruits—balanced by a refined clarity and a clean black tea finish.

Cultivated from the Yellow Bourbon varietal and processed with their technically perfected dry anaerobic fermentation, this coffee generously offers a bouquet of Bramble picked Blackberry Jam and Glacé Cherry sweetness, with undertones of stewed plums. It's sweet, not sickly.
This nano-lot embodies the spirit of Ipanema's pioneering approach to coffee production, where traditional practices meet cutting-edge technology in the quest for extraordinary flavours. On the Fazenda (Portuguese: "Farm") you'll find stainless steel, machined curves and architecturally spectacular design.
Brewing:
Cafetiere, V60, Aeropress, basically all filter brewing of this coffee is exactly what you expect. Coffee excellence, purity, clarity, fruitiness balanced with a juicy texture and sweet mouthfeel. This coffee farm is perhaps this writer's favourite of all time, and B34 Blackberry is vying for the very top spot.
Having said that, we adore this as a flat white... it's so opulent, creamy and feels like it shouldn't be allowed. But this is your world, and you can do what you want.
